Anuradhapura in the North Central province of Sri Lanka is 170km from the Bandaranaike International Airport. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a living city steeped in a magnificent past. Known as the first ancient capital of the country, Anuradhapura is recognized as one of the oldest continuously lived in cities in the world.
